Purpose and Principle Responsibilities

Manage customer support activities that build long-term customer relationships and sustain day-to-day growth of military and/or commercial business.

Essential Duties

  • Manage customer support activities that build long-term customer relationships and sustain day-to-day growth of military and/or commercial business.
  • Receive in-coming sales calls, identify new sales and program opportunities, and provide general product information.
  • Perform external and internal environmental analyses scans to identify and verify:
    • Internal resources and capacity to provide the right solution at the right time and place for the right value.
  • Document efforts and findings, forecast potential result.
  • Facilitate final contract review. requirements and order entries into ERP system.
  • Provides on-going support to internal and external customers.
  • Daily phone, written, and face to face interaction with customers and employees within the Customer Services department and other departments for the purpose of planning, coordinating, advising, and executing management activities that carry out company policy and programs.
  • Plan, coordinate, and develop:
    • Contract review procedures that ensure all internal disciplines review customer requirements to provide appropriate responses for the quotation, presentation, and demonstration phases.
    • Prospect and project pursuit planning and forecasting.
    • Meetings with supporting departments to ensure projections can be met.
    • Status reporting to ensure accurate and timely decision-making processes.
    • Sales promotion and incentive programs as required.
    • The best strategic scenarios (options) for presenting proposed solutions.
    • Quotations, presentations, proposals, and demonstrations activities that offer Win-Win outcomes and mutually beneficial terms.
  • Some travel and flexible hours may be required.
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

  • At least 3-5 years of customer service/sales experience, required.
  • College degree required.
  • Marketing and promotion experience of aviation goods and services, highly desired.
  • Demonstrated strong customer service skills; negotiation skills.
  • Proven team development and leadership skills; ability to effectively influence and motivate others.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization, customers and business community.
  • Strong problem analyses and problem resolution skills.
  • Self directed with the ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
  • PC and ERP proficiency.
  • Ability to develop long range goals and plans in line with the Company’s goals.
